Based on theoretical perspectives of spatial politics and micro practice, this paper,by means of interviews, participant observation and other fieldwork, takes a less commercialized villageBaisha Village-as an example, and attempts to explore how local residents in the ethnic heritage tourism community apply different spatial practice and strategies to compete for interests. The research finds that while the local people fight for interests mainly in three kinds of field, their spatial practice is like negotiation rather than conflicts, which is different from previous studies. The study aims to enrich the empirical research on politics of difference within communities and improve the spatial politics studies in less commercialized cultural heritage tourism communities.
