本研究采用Tobii1750眼動儀,記錄3~9個月中國嬰兒對亞洲、高加索和非洲女性動態面孔的眼動掃描。結果顯示:隨著年齡的增長,嬰兒逐步表現出對本族鼻子的注視時間比例高于他族。3個月嬰兒對鼻子的注視不存在種族差異,6個月嬰兒對本族鼻子的注視顯著高于他族,對非洲鼻子的注視顯著高于高加索,9個月嬰兒對本族鼻子的注視顯著高于他族,而對非洲和高加索鼻子的注視不存在顯著差異。這說明面孔種族接觸經驗影響了嬰兒對本族和他族面孔的眼動掃描。
The current study used the eyetracking methodology to explore whether 3-,6-and 9- month-old Chinese infants have differential scanning patterns for dynamically displayed Asian,Caucasian and African women faces. We found that infants gradually spent a higher proportional fixation time on the nose of own-race faces than other-race faces with the growth of age. Three-month-old Chinese infants spent a similar proportion of fixation time on the nose of the three race faces,while6-month-old infants spent moretime on the nose of own-race faces than other-race faces,and 6-month-old infants spent more time on the nose of African faces than Caucasian faces,and 9-month-old spent more time on the nose of own-race faces than other-race faces,while there was no difference between Caucasian and African faces. The results suggested that experience influences the infants ’ eye movement scanning for own- and other-race faces.
