Education internationalization has become the basic feature of the education field in every country. India has carried out some policies of education internationalization, such as the Foreign Educational Institutions Bill in 2010, which stipulates the access and approval of foreign education institution into India, operation and supervision, quality assurance and prevention of commercialization and so on. The education internationalization in India has made great progress mainly in the following more effective aspects: the increase of India students to study abroad, the increase of international students to study in India, and the exchange programs with foreign universities and so on. But there are some problems in the internationalization of higher education in India, such as the difficult of reversing the trend of outflow of Indian students, the smaller number of international students studying in India, and the defect in education internationalization policy. India’s experience and problems in education internationalization have certain reference value for our country.
