As a thinker in later Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty,Wang Fuzhi related customs to experiences of politics and vicissitudes of dynasties and made a comprehensive study,then he paid attention to the main influencing factors of changing of customs and found out the causes of the vicissitudes of history. His research on good and bad customs,customs of intellectuals and causes of changing of customs reflected his strong historical critical spirit,and revealed that he summed up historical experience consciously. One of his famous remarks,namely "responsible intellectuals should talk about customs to set things right and consider themselves responsibility",displayed strong social responsibility which ruled the country well and a traditional scholar’s sense of historical mission. All of these are meaningful and worth learning even in today.
