題名:虛擬晶圓廠服務提供之研究:促成架構與動態服務提供機制

最近幾年,為因應半導體產業激烈的競爭環境,學者與專家紛紛提出虛擬晶圓廠之概念。為了在高度專業化分工與未來發展具高度不確定性的環境中,靈活地提供製造服務與技術服務給顧客,本研究從晶圓代工廠的角度出發,首先定義虛擬晶圓廠及其應提供的服務種類,並提出能具體實現此概念的虛擬晶圓廠促成架構。虛擬晶圓廠促成架構由三個層級所構成,分別是服務層、業務程序層、與基礎架構層,透過動態服務提供機制,三個層級的物件被適當地連結以提供服務。而在動態服務提供機制下,藉由名稱對應、業務程序連結、資源保留連結、與服務管理連結等程序與方法,服務便能動態地被組合。本研究並以晶圓代工廠交單承諾服務為例,實作一個雛型系統,以驗證此架構與機制的可行性與擴充潛力。該實作使用現有的資訊技術與軟體輔助設計工具,在晶圓廠現有的資訊基礎架構下,使用實際的資料,開發示範性的虛擬晶圓廠交單承諾雛型系統,充分展現了促成架構與動態服務提供機制適用於開發虛擬晶圓廠相關的服務應用系統。
The concept of virtual fab(VF)has been proposed over the past few years as a way to face the fierce competition of the semiconductor industry. In order to flexibly provide not only manufacturing service but also technology service to customers in a highly specialized and uncertain environment, the definition of VF and types of services are proposed. To realize the definition of VF with flexible service provision, this paper designs a VF enabling framework from the standpoint of a foundry fab. The VF enabling framework contains service, business process, and infrastructure layers. A novel scheme of dynamic service provision mechanism (DSPM) is designed to flexibly compose objects among the three layers into various services. The skeleton of the scheme includes name mapping, business process binding, resource reservation binding, and service management binding for flexible service composition. To assess the feasibility and potential of the framework and our DSPM, the available-to-promise service is used as an example. A prototype system is designed and implemented to demonstrate that current information technology, CASE tools, fab information infrastructure, and data/information availability make DSPM readily realizable and that DSPM has good potential for application to VF developments.
