題名:我國博碩士論文人力資源管理議題之內容分析與後設分析

本研究的目的是要瞭解我國博碩士論文有關人力資源管理的議題,用內容分析法,分析從1969到2006之相關論文560篇,以瞭解人力資源管理的議題。另用後設分析法,分析81篇有關”人力資源管理與績效”和”訓練與績效”的論文,用以檢視兩者與績效的關係。
績效長久以來是人力資源管理與訓練的重要議題,因受到研究主題篇數的限制,本研究的後設分析主要是聚焦在人力資源管理和訓練對績效的研究。
內容分析的結果如下:
1.以長期的觀點而言,人力資源管理的研究數量是持續成長的。
2.以研究的區域而言,大部分的研究地區都集中在台灣(有高達80%都集中在對台灣地區的研究) 。
3.以產業的分佈而言,以”綜合性產業”和 “金融業和保險業”為最多的研究產業,而且這兩個產業還在持續成長中。另一方面,”專業、科學及技術服務業”、”教育服務業”、”公共服務業”等產業的研究數量,有成長的趨勢。
4.在有關量化研究的回收率方面,其平均的回收率為55.01%。
5.有關研究類型方面,以實證性研究為主,另一方面,”實證性研究”、”特殊切入角度研究”和”理論性研究”,其研究數量有成長趨勢。
6.研究的主題方面,以”訓練與發展”和””勞資關係” 的研究為最多。
後設分析的研究結果:
1.人力資源管理對組織績效的後設分析顯示有正向的相關。
2.教育訓練對組織績效的後設分析顯示有正向的相關。
3.教育訓練對員工績效的後設分析顯示有正向的相關。

A Content Analysis and Meta-analysis of Theses and Dissertations
On Human Resource Management
In Taiwan

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to analyze the issues of the theses and dissertations on the topic of human resource management in Taiwan. The study focused on 560 papers during 1969 to 2006 in Taiwan, and it applied Content Analysis as the research method.
Performance is an issue concerned by HRM and training for a long time. Moreover, meta-analysis mainly focused on the effect of HRM and training on performance. A meta-analysis was also conducted to probe into theses and dissertations for HRM and training on performance from 1992 to 2006. 81 articles were identified as research studies. Each study was systematically reviewed to determine the extent to which it met criteria for potential inclusion in the meta-analysis.
The content analysis results are as follows:
1. In longitudinal aspect, HRM researches have increased in recently years.
2. With regard to research areas, most papers were based in Taiwan. Research areas on Taiwan average above 80%.
3. The industry distribution ‘Combined industry’ and ‘Finance and Insurance’ ranked top two. Moreover, these two categories had a rising trend within these years. On the other hand, “Professional, Scientific and Technical Services”, “Educational Services”, “Other Services”, and “Public Administration” also had a rising trend within these years.
4. In light of the questionnaire respond rate in quantitative research, the results displayed the average respond rate was 55.01%.
5. The empirical research was the chief type of theses and dissertations on HRM. On the other hand, “empirical”, “position”, and “theory” category had a rising number study trend within these years.
6. For research topic, ‘training and development’ and ‘labor and union relation’ ranked top two.
The Meta-analysis results are as follow:
1. The result of the meta-analysis on the effect of HRM on organizational performance showed positive correlation of HRM on organizational performance.
2. The result of the meta-analysis on the effect of training on organizational performance showed positive correlation of training on organizational performance.
3. The result of the meta-analysis on the effect of training on employee performance showed positive correlation of training on employee performance.
