　　　　　本文旨在探討教立時代學術出版品變遷帶來的影響，主要探討有三個問題，其一是學術傳播與學術出版的本質為何？其二是網路與數位科技為學術出版帶來什麼變革？其三是學者、出版者、與圖書館在電子學術出版系統的角色？本文以學術傳播、資訊轉換功能、與學術出版系統為主軸，分別探研學者、出版者、與圖書館的新角色。首先探討學術傳播的意涵與特質以及其與學術出版的關聯，其次說明於網際網路與數位科技的發展的而形成印刷出版與電子出版二種典範，最後析論學者、出版者、圖書館角色的改變，以及圖書館面臨電子出版變局的因應策略。
　　　　　Recently, because of the advent of the Internet and digital technology, the system of scholarly communication has undergone a profound change that is still unfolding. The article mainly discusses how the change of scholarly publishing brings impact on scholars, publishers, readers, and libraries. It also explores what roles libraries should play in face of the new paradigm of electronic publishing and makes some suggestions.
