臺灣民眾對於迎娶外籍女配偶多抱持負面的看法，特別是對這些新移民下一代子女的教育問題感到憂慮，實值得政府關注及重視。然而，從多方的學術研究與大眾媒體報導中發現，對於外籍女性配偶生活仍然只是一個概說，且仍多持負面的角度，為了深入了解外籍女性配偶來臺的生活適應與家庭生活現況，本研究擬以質性訪談的方式探討兩位外籍女性配偶來臺的生活適應經驗。 研究進行了約一個月的時間，研究者開始對她們在臺灣生活的原形有了初步的了解，研究發現她們並非全如大眾媒體所談的那樣悲情。儘管兩位外籍女性來臺後有著不同的生活經歷，但她們最大的共同點即是快樂且知足，不管婚姻生活中有多少不為人知的辛酸，但是她們仍然堅持地走出自己的路。

Most of people in Taiwan have negative impression on inter-racial marriage, especially regarding educational issue of their next generation. The government has started to concern about this issue. However, from amounts of academic researches and mass media, the researcher only found a rough description and concept about these female foreigners, and the outlook is negative and maybe unfair to them. In order to discover more about their adaptation condition and present family life, this study adopts qualitative research method by in-depth interviewing with two foreign women. During the period of time of the research, the researcher had further understanding for the two foreign women’s life and found they are not tragic as news on mass media. Even though the two women have had different life experience after coming Taiwan, they insist on the same belief to create their own roads and future with a contented heart.
