The main purposes of this study were: 1. to identify the current situation of adult education literacy and the radio programming quality of broadcast staff; 2. to explore methods to improve the programming quality of broadcast staff; 3. to explore the relationship between adult education literacy and the radio programming quality of broadcast staff; 4. and to provide suggestions for radio stations, broadcast staff and administration, and future research. This study reached the following conclusions: 1. Broadcast staff had superior levels of adult literacy, especially adult education attitudes and abilities; however, adult education needs strong promotion. 2. Broadcast staff request high quality programming, to maintain program merit before and during its airing. Nevertheless, post-airing evaluation remains ignored. 3. There was a significant positive correlation between adult education attitudes and programming quality.
