This paper is intended mainly to introduce the musical achievements and contributions of the 20th century's French musician, Maurice Duruflé (1902~1986), and to explore his four choral works. Duruflé's four choral works are as follows: 1. Requiem (Requiem pour soli, choeurs, orchestre et orgue, Op. 9) 2. Four Motets on the Themes of Gregorian Chants (Quatre moetes sur des thèmes grégoriens, Op. 10) 3. Mass «Cum Jobilo» (Messe «Cum Jobilo», Op. 11) 4. The Lord's Prayer: Our Father (Notre Père, Op. 14)
