On the Taiwanese poetry, Shang-Gin is always defined as a "surrealist". According to the poet's own expression , "surrealistic means super-realistic", This article reveals an opposite discourse: the vigorous inspiration of poet derives consciously or subconsciously from a realism of tradition and it is more civilians than the other poets. The essay clariflies those elements which consist in the imaginative world of Shang-Gin : source of emotion , effort for "whole-vision", insisting on modernity and commonalty, esthetics of excavating in sincerity. Through a comparison with the poetry Ya-Xuan, Guan-Guan and Zhou Meng-dia, the value of Shang-Gin will be observed from two cortrary sections: vertical heritage of tradition and horizontal sights of the poetry in sixtieth ages of Taiwan
