近年來事件活動已被視為另一種快速成長觀光旅遊型態,並吸引相當數量國內外遊客參與。本研究旨在探討遊客參與事件活動之動機、遊客在參與活動後之知覺價值、滿意度及所衍生之行為意圖,以「2005虎頭埤水與綠嘉年華」為例,透過遊客問卷調查收集資料,利用結構方程模式進行實證分析。結果發現:(1)參與事件活動動機因素分為「回歸/社群」、「追尋新奇」、「自我價值」、「恢復平衡」。(2)關係模式方面,知覺價值會正向直接影響滿意度與知覺價值會正向直接影響行為意圖。
