本文將試圖運用米歇爾‧傅科以「權力─知識─規訓」為核心的系譜學方法論。論述關於新一代軟體帝國內部的權力運作模式，在此過程中，「軟體科技」鑿下了自身發展的基礎，擴大其作為資訊社會時代最重要知識體系所能發揮的總體效應。同時本文也藉由探索關於主體的科技勞動來解讀微軟帝國與個別使用者之間的權力關係，以及微軟如何藉由將具備科學地位的知識系統「軟體科技」造就為龐大的商品體系來執行其帝國的全球監控。

This article aims to analyze the power operation of Microsoft’s empire by applying Michael Foucault’s methodology. The focus of the article is to examine how this software corporation, Microsoft, develops its technological foundation and expands its influences, and gradually becomes the most significant knowledge-power system in the information society. The article furthermore attempts to discover how this empire executes imperial surveillance globally by deconstruction of the inter-relationship between the individual user and knowledge provider, Microsoft.
