文獻顯示重遊與潛在遊客的目的地意象具有顯著差異。本研究探索土耳其、希臘和埃及遊客心理圖像特徵,並比較團體旅遊重遊與潛在遊客土希埃之意象。本研究採用Baloglu和McCleary (1999) 的旅遊目的地意象形成問卷,及Plog (1974) 的「心理圖像特徵」問卷,於2003年10月至2004年1月間蒐集有效問卷434份 (重遊遊客274人,潛在遊客160人)。研究結果顯示受訪者以女性居多、教育水準高、收入高、年齡層分佈廣,為異質性頗高的市場;且受訪者對土希埃的整體意象非常正面。研究結論有二:(一) 受訪者具有喜歡冒險且獨立自主的旅遊特性。(二) 重遊及潛在遊客在形成土希埃意象的資訊來源、旅遊動機、心理圖像特徵、情感評估及整體意象變數上都沒有顯著差異,此結果與文獻不符。文末並對未來研究與業者經營管理提出建議。
