題名:國家公園解說規劃之視覺設計管理模式--以美國與英國國家公園為例

本研究旨在探討不同國家之國家公園在解說規劃上,視覺設計系統的殊 異性,並針對不同的視覺設計管理模式進行歸納。研究對象以國家公園管理系統 中最具代表性的美國及地方田園管理經驗已行之有年的英國為主。筆者彙整解說 理論、國家公園的解說規劃等相關文獻,進行分析及討論,並透過實際的田野調 查及解說設計師訪談,進一步探究在兩國國家公園解說規劃的過程中,視覺設計 所強調的設計理念、實行流程及管理模式。由研究調查得知:美國國家公園署 (National Park Service)對於各國家公園解說規劃的視覺設計系統,採用中央統御 方式來統合各個國家公園的視覺形象,使各國家公園具有牢固的識別連繫性,屬 於一貫性的核心管理模式。英國國家公園協會(UK Association of National Park Authorities) 除了積極發展國家公園品牌之外,對於各國家公園解說規劃的視覺 設計系統,採用地域個別管理方式,使各國家公園發展獨立識別系統,並與地方 政府、協會及非營利組織有密切的解說設計合作關係,是屬於複合性的共治管理 模式。
United States was the first to install a national park and interpretation system, while United Kingdom is highly developed in rural management. As such, based on these two countries, the purpose of this study is to investigate and categorize characteristics of different visual design management models for interpretive planning. Literature review and field investigation were conducted on interpretive design conception, design process and management system data collection. Results show that United States has a consistent core management model. The US National Park Service has developed a strong identity design system to create a unique US national park brand. On the other hand, United Kingdom shows a compound community management model that emphasizes bidirectional development of UK national park identity and local characteristics. The UK Association of National Park Authorities and local communal organizations of each national park cooperate to create the compound national park brands.
