在圖畫故事書中所建構的幻想世界,屬於狼的故事五花八門,關於野狼形象的描繪是多樣化的且形象鮮明,可是佐佐木.MaKi在《天涯一匹狼》這本書所描繪的狼,是一隻看不到表情、看不出形貌的小野狼,彷彿是由無數黑線所纏繞出的一抹陰影,而且小野狼和故事中的其他角色沒有互動,只有心情的獨白。這種獨特的創作方式所要傳遞的訊息與吸引讀者的特質,是本論文所要探討的重點,於是本論文從主角的形塑、版面的安排與對讀者的召喚三個面向,透過分析線條、顏色、視覺動線、圖文配置與敘事節奏等來說明:寂寞是種複雜的情緒,來自於渴求、不安、壓抑、叛逆和失落種種心情的糾葛,很難說得清楚卻是可以用心去體會的。翻開《天涯一匹狼》,在佐佐木.MaKi精心安排的氛圍中,跟著小野狼來一趟心靈之旅,也等於是來一回心情治療,這是本書令人備感親切的主要原因。
In many picture story books, wolf is involved in the fantastic world in a variety of ways. The images of wolves depicted in these books are diverse and clear. However, in Maki Sasaki's "I am a Lone Wolf", the wolf is a little one and has virtually no emotions and a clearappearance. It is more like a cloud of shadow wound by countless black threads. This little wolf has no interaction with other characters but soliloquies. The messages conveyed in its soliloquies and the characteristics that appeal to readers are the focuses of this paper. From the author's shaping of the main character, arrangement of the layout, and calls to readers, an analysis of lines, colors, visual movement, arrangement of text and graphics, and narrative rhythm is performed to explain that loneliness is a complicated emotion stemming from aspiration, anxiety, pressure, resistance, and sense of loss; it is hard to explain but can be felt with the heart. In "I am a Lone Wolf", Maki Sasaki creates an atmosphere that gives readers an experience of an emotional therapy after reading along the little wolf's journey. This is the main reason why it feels so real and amiable to readers.
