The purpose of this research is to investigate the current circumstance and the relationship of the tourists' environmental cognitions and attitude on wetland conservation in Niaosong Wetland Park. This study also identifies the effect of tourist background and conservation experience variables on tourists' environmental cognitions and attitude on wetland conservation. This research picks the questionnaire survey procedure, and uses "Tourists' Wetland Conservation Cognitions and Attitude Questionnaire" to study the tool. The acquired data were processed by SPSS 19.0 for Windows to engage in descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, independent-sample t-test and Pearson product-moment correlation. This research and the results are summarized as follows: 1. Many of the tourists were over 21 to 40 of age, whose education basically were college degrees, and most of their occupation were industry, commerce and service. Besides, there were more women than men, and live near the park. 2. The average points of tourists’ environmental cognition shows their environmental cognition in high standard; the tourist attitude towards wetland conservation is between "agree" to "highly agree". 3. The independent variables which affect tourists’ environmental cognition of wetland conservation are "age", "educational level", "occupation", "average monthly income", "wetland conservation knowledge sources", "experience in conservation programs" ,"experience in purchasing ecological books". 4. The independent variables which affect tourists' environmental attitude of wetland conservation are "age", "educational level", "occupation", "wetland conservation knowledge sources", " experience in joining eco-related organizations". 5. There is a positive correlation among respondents' environmental cognition and environmental attitude of wetland-conservation.
