本研究為「安養護機構住民社會支持與生活品質之研究－以南區某公立老人之家為例」，研究方法是採用量化研究之「面對面問卷調查法」，問卷內容包含了研究對象基本特質、社會支持變項（正式社會支持、非正式社會支持）、生活品質變項（生理層面、心理層面、社會層面、文化層面）。研究對象為內政部南區老人之家目前安養護住民，母群體共223人，扣除失智患者31人及無表達能力者25人，可施測對象共167人。研究結果如下：研究對象不同的教育程度及居住里別在「正式支持」上有差異性。不同的宗教信仰在「生理層面」上有差異性、不同的婚姻狀況在「社會層面」上有差異性、不同的在教育程度、婚姻狀況、健康情形、居住時間、居住里別及居住狀況「文化層面」上有差異性、不同的在教育程度、婚姻狀況、健康情形、居住時間、居住里別及居住狀況整體「生活品質」上有差異性。本研究建議對社會支持（維持機構硬體設備的運用、住民的日常生活所需的立即性滿足實施等，共7點）與生活品質（積極建構機構內住民健康網絡、提供住民自理生活機會，共11點）等二個面向加以建構。

This study is ”The residents in the long term care institution on the social support and the life quality: According to the nursing home of the public section in the southern”. The study method is quantitative research. The contents of the questionnaire including resident's background, social support variable, life quality variable. The population have 223 persons, after crossing out 31 dementia persons and 25 incapable expressing persons, the population have 167persons. The results are: The first, there are significant differences of ”formal support” in different education level. The second, There are significant differences of ”physical part” in different religions. The third, There are significant differences of ”social part” in different married status. The fourth, There are significant differences of ”cultural part” in different education level, married status, health condition, resident time, resident Vil and resident status. The fifth, There are significant differences of ”life quality” in different education level, married status, health condition, resident time, resident Vil and resident status. The suggestions construct the conclusions on the social support (maintain the institution's soft and hard equipments working, satisfy the residents's daily life needs, etc.) and the life quality (construct residentshealth network, suffer the opportunity of the residents's self dealing living, etc.).
