　　　　　目前國內正進行國小社會科課程改革，其改革與杜威的思想有許多符應 之處。因此，本研究擬採文獻探討法及哲學為教育(philosophy for education)的觀 點，整理出杜威課程論的主要觀點，並予以檢視我國國民小學社會科改革及實施 現狀，進而加以分析檢討，且就教材的改進、教學法的改進、師資專業能力的提 升等方面提出建議，希望對目前國民小學社會科的教學有所助益。
　　　　　The reform of social studies program in elementary school is currently underway, and some of its major theme can be found in Dewey's thought. This researchadapted literature review method and "philosophy for education'viewpoint to synthesizeDewey's main thesis on curriculum and look at' analyze and futher examine thecurrent practice and reform of social studies program in our elementary school. It alsoprovided suggestions to improving instructional matherials, teaching strategies as wellas upgrading the professional competence of teachers in the hope that the instructionsocial studies teaching be benefited.
