This paper collates the writings of the late Ming Confucian scholar Tang Boyuan as copied into in Huang Zongxi's famous collection of philosophical writings by Ming Confucians, the Mingru xue’an, with those found in rare copies of two Qing period editions of Tang's collected works, Zuijinglouji. More than one hundred occurrences of textual difference are found as a result, and in each case a decision for the correct expresion is made with an explanation. This proveison of a definitive text will render a firmer grasp of Tang's ideas and scholarship.
