Primarily duo to the rapid economic growth, many urban families in Taipei now have greater disposable incomes despite shorter working hours. More leisure time is an outcome. In addition, the definition of leisure as well as social values are changing, complicating the relationship between the growing demand for leisure and available services. The subject of this paper is to survey leisure activity patterns and the division of leisure time of women to identify leisure activity region of women. Also to find the factors which influence women's leisure activity patterns and priorities. Next step I will evaluate existing leisure institutions and activities, try to develop a method to plan for leisure activity spaces of women.
