     本研究目的之一,在於建立事業策略類型新的分類架構,並驗證其是否適用於臺 灣高科技廠商之事業策略形態;此外,進一步建立製造能力與事業策略類型的最佳配適模式 ,係本研究之另一目的,其中製造能力包括低成本、低不良率品質、獨特性品質、準時交貨 、迅速交貨、產量彈性、產品彈性等構面。本研究首先發展一事業策略分類架構,依該架構 而將事業策略類型區分為先制策略、差異化 -- 跟隨策略、成本化 -- 跟隨策略;而後建立 製造能力構面與該三種事業策略類型配適關係之研究假設, 並以 113 家臺灣高科技廠商之 資料進行實證分析,研究結論指出,採不同事業策略之廠商,具備不同之製造能力構面時, 對新產品成功上市比率、純益率、銷售成長率等三種不同性質之績效指標,有不同的顯著影 響關係;因此,採不同事業策略類型之廠商,應視所追求之特定績效目標,而搭配不同之製 造能力構面。
     One purpose of this study is to construct a new typology framework for business strategies, and then to verify if it's application for high-tech. manufacturing firms in business strategy analysis. Besides, to further build the optimal fit model between manufacturing capabilities and business strategy types is the other purpose of this study. Manufacturing capabilities comprise low cost, conformance quality, performance quality, delivery reliability, delivery speed, volume flexibility, product flexibility, etc. This study first proposes a new business strategy framework which categorizes the business strategy types into preemptive strategy, low-cost-follower strategy and differentiated-follower strategy. Then, the fit relationship between manufacturing capabilities and three kinds of business Strategy above is developed to be research hypothesises and examined empirically based on data collected from 113 high-tech manufacturing firms. The study results indicate that firms must adopt their business strategies based on their manufacturing capabilities in order to improve the performance in new product introduction, net profit, and sales growth.
