Culture is the overall expression of human life, including the historical and social developments. It reflects and accentuates the spirit that is incarnated within the material world rather than the material world itself. Every culture is the expression of human nature and it's natural desires, which includes emotions like joy, anger, sadness, love and hatred. In simpler words, a man equipped with opposing powers like care and violence, love and cruelty. While these powers are not as essential as hunger and sexual desire, their impact on human nature is stronger. Therefore, morality cannot be separated from human nature, and culture cannot be independent of human morality. Today, ethics and morality alone cannot create a good environment, psychology and social culture are also factors be considered. This paper approaches culture from Fromm's two major points of view an appreciations for--“human needs and love” as well as “human power and cultural progress”--It tries to remind people of the powerful impact of human morality on culture and to evoke permanent cultural issues.
