This research, based on the designed on-line adaptive testing system, is to study the performance of the adaptive testing system and the educational research on the primary schools after applying the on-line adaptive testing system. The educational research is to explore the computer attitude of students for the feedback during the testing on computers. Those are 307 elementary school students (162 boys and 145 girls) randomly selected from two schools. The experimental results showed that the proposed system could be operated simultaneously by more than 40 students and it could be satisfied by most elementary schools for using on the class (since, in general, the maximum number of students in the computer classroom was 40). The coefficient of correlation between the ability estimation scores and the achievements of tested students' mature science in schools is 0.625 and it reaches a significant level. The computer attitude is also distinguished for different sex. The computer attitude for boys is better than that on girls. However, it does not reach the significant level between the boys and the girls on computer attitudes for the different ways of feedback. In general, all students had high interest in and high acceptance to the adaptive on-line testing. It will be very useful to apply the adaptive testing as a test style in the primary schools.
