本研究之目的：（一）探討不同層級棒球選手知覺動機氣候及喜愛動機氣候之差異；（二）探討不同層級棒球選手知覺動機氣候與喜愛動機氣候對內在動機及滿足感之預測；（三）探討大專棒球選手知覺動機氣候及喜愛動機氣候的差異與內在動機及滿足感之相關。 統計方法為獨立樣本t考驗、多元逐步迴歸分析及皮爾遜積差相關。受試者為參加八十八學年度大專棒球聯賽選手261人，甲組選手143人，乙組選手118人，平均年齡19.96（±2.63）歲。受試者在非比賽期間填寫運動動機量表、知覺╱喜愛運動動機氣候量表及滿足感量表。研究結果顯示：（一）甲組選手的知覺自我取向動機氣候及喜愛自我取向動機氣候均顯著高於乙組選手，而乙組選手的知覺工作取向動機氣候則顯著高於甲組選手。（二）在甲組選手方面，知覺工作取向動機氣候及喜愛工作取向動機氣候是內在動機的有效預測變項，而知覺工作取向動機氣候也是滿足感的有效預測變項；而在乙組選手方面，知覺工作取向動機氣候是內在動機的有效預測變項。（三）知覺與喜愛的自我取向動機氣候之差異與滿足感呈負相關。

　　　　　The purposes of this study were: (1) to compare the discrepancy between perceived and preferred motivational climate for collegiate baseball players with different competitive levels, (2) to explore whether perceived or preferred motivational climate can validly predict intrinsic motivation and satisfaction for collegiate baseball players with different competitive levels, and (3) to investigate the relationship among the discrepancy of perceived/preferred motivational climate, intrinsic motivation and satisfaction. The selected variables were tested by independent t-test, multiple stepwise regression analysis and Pearson product moment correlation. Subjects were 261 collegiate baseball players (143 in Division I, 118in Division II, and their average age were 19.96 ± 2.63) who participated in 1999 Inter-Collegiate Baseball Games. Subjects were administered Sport Motivation Scale, Perceived/Preferred Motivational Climate Scale and Satisfaction Scale. The results were as follows: (1) Division I player showed higher perceived ego-oriented climate and preferred ego-oriented climate than those of Division II Players, Division II players sowed higher perceived task-orientated climate than those of Division I players. (2) In Division I players, both the perceived and preferred task-oriented climate could validly predict intrinsic motivation, and the perceived task-oriented climate could also predict satisfaction. In Division II players, the perceived task-oriented climate could validly predict intrinsic motivation. (3) It appeared negative correlation between the discrepancy of preferred/perceived ego-oriented climate and satisfaction.
