本研究以淡江大學及國立臺灣師範大學兩校的BBS (Bulletin Board System, 電子佈告欄) 小說版 48 位同時具有紙本小說及網路小說閱讀經驗之讀者為研究對象，採用質性深度訪談方法，試圖暸解 BBS 小說版的讀者在閱讀小說和其消費行為方面相關的議題，並嘗試找出下列問題的解答： BBS 小說版讀者閱讀電子式和紙本式小說的時段、平均閱讀時間和頻率、獲得電子和紙本式小說的方式、相關訊息管道來源為何、對於小說文本的消費情況、閱讀電子式小說後帶來的影響及對於紙本和電子式閱讀的個人觀點。結果顯示， BBS 小說版讀者在面對不同媒體的小說時，在閱讀行為、獲取方式、消費行為、閱讀的態度和未來趨勢，會因為電子和紙本式小說的媒體特性，有明顯的行為及態度上差異性。

The purpose of this study is to investigate the reading Behavior of Tamkang University and National Taiwan Normal University Bulletin Board System's user. It explores the following elements reading behavior, frequency of reading consumption attitude, time of reading and how they obtain and use of reading media by means of in-depth interview with 48 BBS fiction board readers. The major findings of this research include reading behavior, frequency of reading, consumption attitude, time of reading and how they obtain and use of reading media are obviously discrepancy.
