     第八世紀的中國佛教產生了本土化的第一家禪宗支脈-溈仰宗,開創者溈山靈祐禪師因其師百丈懷海令他去探視爐子中有無火苗而開悟,原本他回答:「無火」,但百丈不肯,深深爐中灰燼,掏出一些許殘餘未滅的炭火,向他展示:「這是什麼?」此舉令靈祐悟入,此則公案引發後學省思。 靈性中的一點悟性平時隱藏於深處,等待時機成熟才被挖掘出來。人人皆有慧恨悟性,就看時節與因緣了。
     Zen appeals to one's direct experienee, it is the light of enlightment, it is the way to the true nature, it is the language of your pure mind. All sentient beings have two ways to enter the Zen: one is reason, another one is conduct. Sometime Our pure nature is overwrapped by the superfluous objects, if we abandon the desire, crave nothing but wisdom, give up selfness, jealous, hatred, we may keep close to the reality the spirit of pure One. There is neither self nor other, The Buddha and Our mind are one essence. The sentient being is the same with the Buddha, Where is the Buddha nature? It is your pure mind.
