The object of this research is to discuss the phenomenon that students from technological colleges of central parts in Taiwan participate in leisure sport and the characteristics and differences about their attitude toward leisure sport. The study adopts a random stratified sampling method. The subject of query investigation aims to students from eight technological colleges of central parts in Taiwan. The query acquires 776 valid samplings. The valid data is analyzed by statistics analysis methods such as descriptive statistics (frequency and percentage), Chi Square Test T-Test, One-way ANOVA and Scheffe's Test. The study shows several results. Students of technology colleges spend in leisure time more than two hours per week. The times of participation is no more than two times. The gender shows a difference in participation of leisure sport. The participation of female students is lower than the male students. Different educational systems have no difference in leisure sport attitude. Gender and departments has reached significant standards under elements of "sport techniques," "competition and achievement," "knowledge and growth," and "human interrelationship." The research found that both sex and department are the factors that will affect the students' choices of attending leisure sport and their recognition of participation attitudes. Therefore, specific designed programs for students between male and female and among different departments are necessary for promoting students' interests and conceiving better attitudes in participating leisure sport.
