由於隔週休二日制的實行，民眾有更多可自由運用的時間，如果將這些時間投入休閒遊憩活動，將為觀光事業帶來很大的商機，但現階段週休二日常造成觀光景點、遊憩區交通、住宿、餐飲等旅遊資源的嚴重不足。 臺灣地區，各縣市古蹟其皆適合作為參訪古蹟之長短程安排。因此，鼓勵國人於週休二日假期選擇另類的休閒活動—寓教於樂的古蹟參訪活動，並以書報雜誌或網際網路的方式向國人推薦，相信對古蹟的維護、保存亦有正面的助益。 基於此，本文根據相關的文獻、報道、藉由週休二日制實施以來對觀光相關產業的影響，以對週休二日假期古蹟參訪的現況進行探討，其供國內未來研究方向與實務推廣之新視野。。

Due to the enforcement of the two-days weekend policy by the government, people now have more spare time to their own. And it has brought to the tourism industry great opportunities to a profitable future if people would spend their weekends doing leisure activities. However, up to this day, the impact of the two-days weekend policy to the current tourism sots, transportation, hotel and food & beverage business has caused serious shortage problem of tourism resource. In Taiwan, there are various sceneries, which are all quiet suitable for long or short distance tour arrangement. Also, it is believed that is helpful to the maintenance and preservation of historic sites by providing more choices to people for their two-days weekend activities. Now, the government is encouraging people to visit historic sports and enjoy the pleasure of education through promotions published in newspaper, magazines, media and websites. According to the above reasons and the relevant documents, articles though media, we have conducted a research on the subject of “Impact to the related tourism industry since the policy of two-days weekend has been implemented, and the current visiting situation of historic sites.” We hope the following report would provide useful information for the indication of future domestic study and a new view for practical development and promotion of tourism.
