像回饋訊息大多對運動技能學習表現有正面的幫助與影響。相關研究在提供影像回饋的方式上有不同的型態，有些認同自我動作影像回饋有較佳的技能學習表現，有些則認同正確動作影像回饋有較佳的技能學習表現，且兩種回饋同時提供時對技能學習表現亦有加成的效果，在比較自我動作影像回饋與正確動作影像回饋之間差異性的研究上，結果則仍有所分歧，需做進一步的探討。不過可以確認的是相關研究均認同影像回饋配合其他回饋訊息、或是多重影像回饋對運動技能學習表現有較佳的幫助。
