本研究目的在探討無運動習慣之中年人水中體適能運動介入的健康效益。經研究者 召開說明會後徵求自願者參與,並先以問卷調查方式挑選無心血管相關疾病、吸煙、酗 酒習慣與長期服用藥物及營養補充劑且平時無運動習慣的中年人為研究對象,共收案15 位(年齡52.63±6.32 歲、體重69.00±10.45 公斤、身高162.60±7.81 公分);進行共8 週, 每週2 次,每次60 分鐘的水中體適能運動介入。所得資料以描述性統計、相依樣本t 檢定進行資料處理與分析。結果顯示,研究對象在腰圍、臀圍、閉眼單足立、落尺測驗、 1 分鐘屈膝仰臥起坐與體力指數有顯著差異,其餘項目沒有顯著差異;血液生化值方面 除三酸甘油酯外,在總膽固醇、高密度脂蛋白膽固醇、低密度脂蛋白膽固醇等項目皆有 顯著差異。結論:身體質量指數(BMI)與體重有改善的趨勢,且腰圍、臀圍、平衡能力、 軀幹肌耐力、反應和體力指數的變化有顯著差異,並能有效的控制血脂值,因此8 週水 中體適能運動介入能有效改善無運動習慣中年人的身體健康。
