隨著醫藥科技的發達，近幾年來全球各年齡層的人口當中，老年族群的快速成長已成為世界的趨勢。而老年人的平均壽命延長，使得一般人將要面對更長久的老年生活。跌倒是老年人生活當中最常見的問題，經由研究統計發現：姿勢控制能力不佳，會影響身體平衡的穩定，造成跌倒發生的機率增高，而注意力似乎是重要的影響因子之一。有鑑於此，本文將從認知上注意力的觀點來探討其對老年人姿勢控制的影響，也從運動介入的角度來思考是否身體活動可以改善認知的表現，進一步預防跌倒的發生。希望藉由相關文獻的回顧與整理，來支持運動對認知上注意力的益處，進而增加姿勢穩定度與降低跌倒的風險，倡導老年人維持規律運動習慣的觀念，這樣才能擁有較佳的生活品質。
