題名:傳統產業與破壞式創新--以無線遙控模型產業為例

近年來,我國傳統產業面臨日益競爭的國際經貿環境,其產業競爭力也逐漸被鄰近的新興經濟體以低成本優勢所取代。在「後ECFA時代」下,零關稅的平等互惠機制,將使產業遭逢更嚴峻的考驗,如何輔導廠商朝向高值化發展,成為傳統產業與政府關切的重要議題。本文以破壞式創新為理論架構,以無線遙控模型飛機廠商為對象,經由文獻探討、相關產業資料與不同領域的專家訪談,分析廠商導入軍用第一人稱視角技術之發展歷程。研究結果顯示,以破壞式創新的思維,可以引導傳統產業將軍用技術降階,但傳統產業需結合商業模式創新,提升研發實力與價值鏈的再造,重新定位市場,進行轉型、升級與高值化,藉以提高廠商競爭力。最後,本文結論以為破壞式創新不僅適用於高科技產業,亦可適用於傳統產業;再者,對傳統產業如何有效地導入軍用技術的破壞式創新,以開拓民用的新技術與新市場,來進行產業轉型與高值化策略,提出建議與管理意涵。
In recent years, the Taiwanese firms in traditional industries face fierce cost competition from the worldwide market, especially the emerging countries. The cost competition is even more severe in the post-ECFA (Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement) era. It becomes imperative to upgrade their R&D capabilities for traditional industries. The paper uses the concept of disruptive innovation as the framework to examine the feasibility of adopting military First Person View (FPV) in the civilian radio control model industry. The development of FPV-inside technologies, business models and markets is discussed via literature review, market statistics and expert interviews. The results indicate that the concept of disruptive innovation is useful for de-grading military technologies into civilian uses for traditional firms. Some managerial and policy implications for upgrading traditional firms are suggested.
