老年人因神經肌肉控制能力退化,導致無法有效回饋環境刺激產生適當反應,面對突如其來的刺激,無法迅速反應,可能造成身體無法維持穩定或跌倒狀況之發生,運動訓練有助平衡及反應能力之改善,其中專注力(視力與敏捷協調)亦是相當重要的一環。因此,藉由知覺動作訓練強化老年人專注力、平衡控制及協調能力,以促進其敏捷性動作系統之能力,改善訊息接收、傳輸、統整及輸出回饋等功能。而居家運動訓練計畫的運動模式,可有效提升老年人的日常生活機動能力,減少老年人跌倒發生的機率,以建構適合國內老年人健身活動的促進計畫。
Due to the decline of neuromuscular control with aging, elderly people often fail to respond to environmental stimuli. Responses are often delayed when the stimuli are sudden, and this may result in losing balance or falling. Exercise programs help improve balance and reaction, in which concentration (vision and agility) is an important part. Thus, improving concentration, balance control and coordination can increase agility, and improve information receiving, transferring, integrating and feedback. Home-based exercise training can improve functional capability and reduce the risk of falling, which can serve as a health enhancement program for elderly people in our society.
