本研究採用個案研究法，以中央廣播電臺有聲資料數位化為案例，利用半結構化訪談法與間接式參與觀察法來收集資料，並進行鉅觀的環境面與微觀的企業本體的研究分析，得以瞭解廣播電臺有聲資料數位化的建置歷程，並彙集產官學界專家的意見，綜合歸結出有聲資料數位化建置與未來應用的方向：（1）顯現機構本身的制度性特質；（2）建構完備的資訊科技基礎建設；（3）落實數位媒體的資產管理；（4）發展詳盡的後設資料（metadata）；（5）創造數位媒體資產的加值應用服務，以提供給國內廣播電臺業者發展數位化之實務參考。

This study examined the digitalisation of broadcast audio data, using Radio Taiwan International (RTI) as a case study. The study was intended to clarify and interpret how RTI constructs digital systems for broadcasting audio from environmental and corporate perspectives. In addition, the opinions of experts were collected using the semistructured in-depth interview method and indirect observation, to synthesise the directions of system constructions and future applications for audio digitisation. The overall result provides a digital archive reference for domestic radio broadcasters by (1) emphasising corporate institutional characteristics, (2) constructing a complete information technology infrastructure, (3) implementing digital media asset management, (4) developing detailed metadata, and (5) creating value-added e-service and cost benefit for digital archiving.
