跑步乃人類之基本動作技能，亦是許多運動項目的基礎元素；因此，本研究透過文獻回顧的方式，將過去研究跑步之下肢運動學的文獻分類，並以步幅和步頻對跑步之影響、跑步之下肢動作分期與機制、應用肢段間協調機制之跑步動作研究和動作發展理論於跑步之應用等主題，論述有關跑步之下肢運動學的研究成果，以剖析不同條件下之跑步動作特徵與差異，並藉此瞭解各種跑步研究之觀點所呈現的應用價值。
Running is one of the basic skills to human being as well as an essential element to nearly every sport. This current study sough to extend the finding and perspective of previous research which advocated the value of the kinematic features of lower extremity in running and those finding could be grouped into: (a) the effects of stride length and frequency, (b) motion phase and mechanism of lower extremity, (c) research in application of inter-segmental coordination and mechanism, and (d) application of motor development. By reviewing previous research, as mentioned, the kinematical difference and the features of lower extremity in running where under various parameters was explored and the contribution toward distinct research would also be understanding more.
