劉鶚曾在《老殘遊記．自序》裡反覆強調「哭泣」這件事，後世很多的學者也針對這個課題而多有闡發，但是探討的焦點總是圍繞在作者憂慮當代中國社會的未來路線、為彼時不知所措的生民表示痛悼等方面，依此歸結出其政治思想和愛國主義情感。不過，若是單純從劉鶚的語言敘述的邏輯思維去頗析，可以發現劉鶚哭泣的理由並不如想像中的消極和悲觀，反而是積極的化悲憤為力量，並希望以文字的力量在當時的社會中獲得共鳴。另外，再藉由對劉鶚影響極深的太谷學派思想淵源入手，研究劉鶚的政治觀和人生觀，進而探究《老殘遊記．自序》中作者哭泣的原因。也就是說，在思想性和文學性兩種研究方法的「跨領域合作」之下，利用哲學邏輯性的思維角度分析這部文學性著作，實能激蕩出不同以往的學術火花，進而重新體現劉鶚的人生觀和價值觀。

Lui E repeatedly emphasized the ＂cry＂ in ＂The Travels of Lao Can＂. Later, many scholars also elaborated on this subject, but they always focused on the author's worries about the future course and sentimentality of contemporary Chinese society. In terms of the people and so on, the final conclusion is Liu E's political thoughts and patriotic feelings. However, if we simply analyze the logical thinking of Liu E's language narrative, we can find that the reason why Liu E is crying is not the negative pessimism that most people imagine, but the positive grief and indignation as power, hope to infect his own words. Force was able to resonate in the society at the time.In addition, I started by studying the source of the Taigu School of Thought, which was deeply influenced by Liu E, and studied Liu E's political and life views, and further explored the reasons why the author cried in The Travels of Lao Can. I will analyze this work under the ＂cross-domain cooperation＂ between the ideological and literary research methods, and use the philosophical logical thinking to analyze this work. It can really stimulate the academic sparks of different pasts, and then re-emphasize the author's outlook on life and Values.
