臺灣地區自民國77年開始進入資訊網路發展的階段。至今已建立了臺灣學術網路 （ TANet ），臺灣地區書目資訊網路（ NBINET ）、科技性全國資訊網路（ STICNET ）、 資訊軟體發展環境建立網路（ SEEDNET ）及加值網路系統（ VAN ）。網路系統上均擁有相 當多的資訊資源，圖書館應善用網路的功能，並將網路的資訊源納入整體圖書館資源的一部 份，以進一步提昇各項服務功能，建立符合資訊化社會需求的資訊服務。本文將探討資訊網 路對臺樣地區圖書館的影響，並就未來發展的方向提出建議。

　　　　　There have been established many information networks, TANet. NBINET, STICNET, SEEDNET, and VAN, in Taiwan area since 1988. Lots of information resources in information networks can be retrieved and used by end users. Not only should libraries integrate the different types of networked information, but also gradually develop networked information services in library environment. This paper is to discuss how information networks influence library services and to recommend the future developments for libraries.
