　　　　　圖書館哲學博大精深，作者認為自己缺乏哲學的基礎，他是以一個門 外漢站在竹籬外徘徊的心情寫作本文。根據自己求學的經驗以實驗主義門徒的 立場，他勉力檢討若干哲學家的理論並提出如何接近圖書館哲學的個人建議。
　　　　　Philosophy of librarianship is very complicate and difficult subject to study and research. The author admits that he is like a outsider strolling around bamboo fences. Nevertheless, based upon his experiences of the part and also his belief as a diciple of education experimentalism, he manages to present the thought, of some great philosophers whose views having impacts on library services and he attempts to make suggestion for the approach of library philosophy.
