　　　　　如果有連續數年的橫斷面資料，並且將具有類似特質的個人們予以分組平均，得出數個年群的時間數列，也就是所謂的Pseudo　paneldata(PPD)，則原來只能用Panel data(PD)估計之線性模型中的斜率參數，現在也可以用PPD估計年群型式模型，得到該斜率參數的一致估計量。本文利用1978-1993年的「人力運用調查」，建構出以1978為基期的23-50歲男性代表性個人之時間數列資料;組成PPD，以MaCurdy(1981)的個人生命循環勞動供給方程式為實証基礎，估計勞動供給跨期替代彈性。結果顯示，當意料中的薪資變動1時，男性勞動供給會因此同向變動 0.6。

　　　　　We treat each age-specific cohort as an mdividuaL trace the manpower utilization survey data of Taiwan for 16 years, and constructpseudo panel data along the lines ofDeaton (1985). We then followthe analysis of MaCurdy (1981). set up a life-cycle labor supplymodel,and estimate Taiwan's intertemporal substitution elasticityof labor supply. The result shows that a 1 increase in wage increases the male labor supply by .6.
