     In this article, the authors argue that computers should be integrated into early childhood classroom under certain considerations and further suggests some principles and strategies for the practice of integration. The strategies for integration are as follows:(1) regarding computers as a teaching unit;(2)regarding computers as a tool for explorating the unit concepts;(3) regarding computers as a tool for communication during group discuswsion in connection with "Whole Language";(4) regarding computers as a tool for solving daily living problems;(5) carefully assessing computer software for young children and; (6) preparing and arranging computer learning environments for young children.
