本論文以圖標設計為探討對象,並以數位影音、數位相機及數位行動等三項數位科技產品之圖標為研究主題,藉由聯合分析方法瞭解圖標設計特徵屬性與感性語彙之關聯性,並以消費者及使用者的觀點驗證圖標的美感性與使用者滿意度。研究結果顯示:帶有金屬材質與透明材質的數位行動圖標及透明質感的數位影音圖標則呈現出強烈的個性化風格及流行化風格;而數位行動圖標及數位影音圖標以木紋材質呈現,以及數位相機圖標以方形外框呈現,則最欠缺個性化風格及流行化風格。另外,經由驗證得知整體推估之準確率平均高達89.6%,可以證明本研究所提出之圖標設計特徵屬性之定義與相對應之感性語彙推論結果相符合;另外,在美感性與使用性滿意度方面,也證明具有改善介面主觀評價之效果。綜合而言,對設計研究的貢獻,對於圖標設計特徵屬性的表現形式與設計手法之呈現方式給予明確的定義外,也可推論至其他數位產品圖標設計等應用上;在設計實務方面,可以提升使用者在使用性操作應用上的滿意度及美感,以及了解何種表現形式與設計手法給予人們何種心理的感性意象,不僅可以幫助圖標設計師在進行設計開發時的參考依據,考量圖標本身表現技巧與產品外觀給予人們感性意象的搭配性。
This paper has based on icon design as its target of investigation, while the icons of digital audio-visual, digital camera, and digital mobile of the three digital technological products are resorted to as the subject of study. Then, conjoint analysis is emploied to appreciate the correlation between feature attribute of icon design and kansei vocabulary, and the perspective of consumer and user is exploited to substantiate the aesthetics and user satisfaction of icon. As indicated from the study results, the icon of digital mobile with metallic and transparent material as well as the icon of digital audio-visual with transparent texture has vigorously demonstrated personalized and fashionable style. On the other hand, the icon of digital mobile and audio-visual which is displayed in wooden quality, and the icon of digital camera which is exhibited in rectangular framework, are very much in short of personalized and fashionable style. Besides, it is learned from substantiation that the accuracy of overall estimation has averagely reached as high as 89.6%, which has well corroborated that the definition of feature attribute for icon design put forth in this study will match with the estimation results of commensurable kansei vocabulary. Furthermore, in terms of aesthetics and user satisfaction it has been proved that they are found with the effect of subjective evaluation for interface improvement. All in all, the demonstration of manners of expressions and design for feature attribute of icon design has, with contribution to design study, been awarded with specific definition, and it has been further infered to the applications of icon designs of other digital products. As for design practices, they can work to enhance satisfaction and aesthetics of users for operation applications of usability, and appreciate what kind of psychological kansei image can be rendered within what kind of expression and design manner. As such, it helps icon designer to base on it as reference in considering the expression techniques of the icon itself and product outlook in regard to the compatibility of perceptual image as they carry out their design.
