本文重點在討論朱熹性理思想系統形成之關鍵及其演變過程。作者分別由「參究中和」、「中和新說」、「仁說」之論辯三部份來展開本文之論述，並指出朱熹以〈大學〉為本之工夫進路以作為其學說之綱領及義理規模。

The theme of this paper is to discuss how Zhu Xi’s doctrine of Nature and Li was formed and how it evolved. The discourse proceeds from “the harmony of the mean explained”, “neutralization”, and the “doctrine of jen”, while pointing out that the guidelines and moral norms of Zhu Xi’s doctrine are the process of moral practice founded on Da Xue.
