光是中古時期，模擬就有好幾種型態，非本文所欲討論者，本文僅鎖定不入樂的古詩這門類中、陸機〈擬古詩〉十二首為討論焦點。先在前言部分指出：那十二首擬作在中古時期評價極高，與明、清以來迴然有別的蹊蹺點，以期逼顯重新閱讀、反省品評的必要性。然後藉由三個步驟：一，包括那十二首在內的古詩原始性質是什麼；二，原作與擬作之間的差異是什麼；三，擬作為何會有這些差異，略事闡明。因此，解析詩作本身圍為本文不可或缺的部分，鳥瞰古詩的前期發展、清理古詩接受史中的蔽障更屬於必要的脈絡與論辨。

In the middle ages, there are several types of poems imitating the previous ones. By focussing on the unballad (fei ylieh - fu) type of the old poetry, this article re -examinines Lu Ji's twelve poems in imitation of the Anonymous Old Poems. It first highlights the distinction between the literary tastes regarding Lu's poems in the middle ages and the Ming - Qing dynasty; while the twelves poems were commended highly in the former, their popularity dropped sharply in the latter. Hence the need for a re - interpretation. This is carried out by examining the twelve poems against the following questions: (1) what are the primordial characteristics of the Anonymous Old Poems imitated by these twelve poems? (2) what are the differences between the original texts and the imitating ones? (3) how to explain the existence of these differences? In conclusion, while textual analysis constitutes an essential part of the discussion, contextual analyses are necessary to our understanding of the initial development of the old poetry as well as its history of reception.
