個體在時空中的存在就是身體，也是當前最簡單也是最複雜的文化課題。身體之美的定義可追溯於歷史文化之中，而理想身體的形塑似乎與身體運動的展現有歷史性的關係。其次，人類身體被認為是大自然的縮影及象徵。再者，身體美學不僅是將身體作為美學的主題之一，更要從身體的本質出發，透視身體自身。因此，本文旨在使用解釋學的方法詮釋身體之美。身體美學的詮釋應以歷史文化為經，身體運動的展現為緯，並由經緯所交織的面與大自然相融合，進而理解、說明、解釋與探索，方能焠煉出身體美學的元素：美感、和諧、優雅、改造、意象、養身、修身、創造力、想像、專注、風格、禪……等。

The individual in the space and time existence is a body, also is the most complex cultural topic at present. The definition of bodily beauty may could trace in the historical culture and the ideal bodily shape unfolds as if has the historical relations with the bodily movement. Second, the human body was viewed as the nature miniature and the symbol. Furthermore, body aesthetics not only is one of the aesthetics subjects, but also must embark from the bodily essence and perspective body oneself. Therefore, the purpose of this article wants to be using interpretation method to interpret the beauty of body. The body aesthetic interpretation should make use of the historical culture, bodily movement in order of fuse with the nature. Then through the understanding, explanation and the exploration, the body aesthetic elements would be found such as the aesthetic sense, the harmony, the grace, the transformation, the image, to take care of health, to practice moral culture, the creativity, the imagination, concentration, the style, Zen Buddhism and so on.
