在全球化下，不同社會顯得越脆弱，但與此同時，一股全球社會運動正發展，目的是要建立一個更人性和更正義的社會。宗教有其貢獻。然而，不同宗教、不同宗派傳統、其人口組織和不同社會文化對宗教在全球社會運動的角色會有不同影響。本文嘗試以宗教地理學方法描繪香港基督教的社會面貌，特別在倡議一事上，從中反省其在全球社會運動的角色。

Our society has been turned to be more vulnerable under the influence of globalization. But at the same time, there is a trend of the development of global social movement worldwide, and its intention is to build a more humane and just society. Religion has its contribution to it. Yet different religions, different traditions, their demography and their social cultural contexts shape different religious roles in global social movement. The purpose of this study has adopted the approach of religion of geography to articulate the social mapping of Hong Kong Protestantism, with particular emphasis on its role in advocacy, in order to reflect its role in global social movement.
