題名:零售業便利商店展店特性之探究--以數學模型推導

本研究旨在探討零售業便利商店展店的特性,有別於過去研究,首先由經濟學營收與成本概念出發,經由數學的推導,我們找到展店的最低門檻,進而建構出便利商店的展店數學模型,結果顯示當人口密度越高,展店門檻會降低,因此展店機會也隨之增高;另一方面,當競爭家數越多,展店門檻會升高,因此展店機會也隨之降低。我們並以全家便利商店民國82年到102年的資料,針對人口密度、競爭率和失業率進行實證研究,研究結果顯示與模型吻合。
This study aimed to explore the characteristics of expanding convenience stores in retail industry. Unlike previous studies, the researcher, first based on the concept of economic revenue and costs, discovered the minimum threshold for expansion via mathematical derivation, then constructed the mathematical model for the expansion of convenience stores. The result showed that higher population density would lower the expanding threshold, therefore the opportunity for expansion would be increased; on the other hand, more competitors would lead to higher expanding threshold, thus the opportunity for expansion would be decreased. Based on the information from 1993 to 2013, the researcher conducted an empirical study by aiming at population density, competitiveness, and unemployment rate. The findings were consistent with the model.
