The Legislative Yuan passed the third reading of the Cultural & Creative Industry Development Law and its enforcement rules from the Council for Cultural Affairs, Executive Yuan in 2010, with the main objective of resolving the funding resource for the cultural & creative industry. How to apply cultural & creative resources to develop hand-dyeing art as one of the cultural & creative industries is the motive and objective of this research. The research attempts to select the experiential teaching and actual work exhibitions of indigo dyeing and wax dyeing as example, so as to explore how to overcome the current problems faced by hand-dyeing art through content analysis. The research believes that in order to utilize the cultural & creative resources effectively to realize the future development of Taiwan's hand-dyeing industry, both the government and the hand-dyeing art industry must endeavor to complete the process of industry, academic, research and marketing. For instance, the hand-dyeing industry should research and develop the current hand-dyeing work into products, so as to establish the hand-dyeing industry; moreover, the government should also abandon the approach of individual cases applying for subsidies and adopt the approach of production and marketing as the focus to assist Taiwan's hand-dyeing art and in turn creating a win-win situation for advancing developments in the cultural & creative industry and the hand-dyeing industry.
