The advance of technology and arrival of the era of icon accelerate the spreading of images and facilitate the booming of illustrations. Illustrations does not exist just on paper and re no longer an attachment to texts. They are given greater values after spreading. With the changes in industrial structures and the way of life, people look for a life of high quality and great taste. As fashion industries start booming in Taiwan, unique illustration styles are established among fashion illustrations. Considered as the combination of fashion, clothing, illustration and arts, fashion illustrations are no longer confined on paper. They are seen everywhere from package materials, leather products, cosmetics to advertising. Fashion illustrators are given the freedom to bring out their best, indicating more applications and values for fashion illustrations. This study was intended to analyze and investigate the style of fashion illustrations in recent years in Taiwan. In the mast illustration market, the style of fashion illustration is not clearly defined. What is the difference between a fashion illustration and ordinary illustrations we see every day? It is worth investigating in terms of styles, characteristics and applications. Qualitative semi-structural in-depth interview and Panofsky's iconological analysis were introduced in this study. A cross analysis between these two method led to the study results. Including the practical experience and work history of fashion illustrators, the use and presentation of materials and techniques and the classification of fashion illustration styles. The results may provide a basis for those who are interested in fashion illustrations.
