The aim of this paper is to design a beginner aerobic kickboxing dance curriculum for college students. In order to effectively design the curriculum in line with preset objectives, we first analyzed the beginner qualities in college students. We found major deviations in cardiorespiratory fitness, insufficient muscular fitness, weak dynamic visual acuity, and a low willingness to learn new skills. We then analyzed existing aerobic kickboxing dance courses. We found the curriculum design not suitable for beginner students due to the difficulty of operation and the use of printed course material not being able to effectively convey the central principles. Taking all this into consideration we designed a curriculum for beginners. The main focus is on the principles of movement, the principles of popular music and enhancing intellectual movement. The resulting course is a 6 week program designed to effectively develop these skills in absolute beginners.
